Air traffic in France: + 8.7% in April

The number of passengers traveling from France increased by 8.7% in April, compared to the same month in 2016. The month of April was marked by a remarkable increase in international air passenger traffic (+ 10.4%); the number of passengers carried last month passes the 14 million mark. Africa is the continent with the highest growth rate (+ 13.8%) thanks to the Maghreb (+ 16.8%).  America saw an increase of (+9.4%). However, Asia (+ 6.7%), is losing in intensity compared to recent months.

On the airports side, there was a (+7.1%) increase in passenger traffic in April 2017 compared to a year earlier, with 8.8 million passengers welcomed, including 6 million at Paris-Charles de Gaulle (+ 7.8% ) and 2.8 million in Paris-Orly (+ 5.8%).
