Air China, founded in 1988, is the only Chinese airline that flies the national flag and the only one responsible for operating the national leader’s aircraft. As a major member of the Star Alliance, it is also the only civil aviation enterprise in China to appear among the “World’s Top 500 Brands.”
The airline’s philosophy is built around four principles: credibility, convenience, comfort, and choice. China’s state-controlled national flag carrier is also the country’s largest by market value, and second only to China Southern Airlines in fleet size.
